Think Adele meeting Bruno Mars meeting Alanis Morissette… step forward the very talented Pam Steebler! Canadian-Brazilian singer Pam Steebler started singing at the age of five at a church choir, began writing her own music since twelve, studied at the renowned music institution of Berklee College of Music, and has devoted her career into music performance and composition ever since. Currently residing in New York, Pam was kind enough to answer a few questions about her career and her unique style as a musician.

Q: What made you decide to pursue a career in music?

A: It was never really a choice. I started singing as a hobby when I was very young, and I would get offers for paid gigs from time to time!

Q: What is your favourite Type of music to perform?

A: I love performing songs with great lyrics that I identify with. It feels great to be able to express myself when the words are so eloquently written.

Q: Describe a typical ‘Pam Steebler’ performance. What can guests expect from you?

A: A typical ‘Pam Steebler’ performance will go from making you dance and jump to making you cry. My personality has two strong sides: I love laughing and having fun, but I also love being ‘vulnerable’ and connect with my audience in a deeper level.

Q: What type of event do you like to play in the most?

A: I like any event with a big outdoor stage.

Q: What is the most unforgettable gig you can think of off the top of your head?

A: Definitely singing to Annie Lennox, Carole King, and Willie Nelson at my Berklee College of Music Commencement show.

Q: can you share how DO your own work and singing style differ from those of other female soloists out there?

A: It is very hard to explain. I am convinced that my songwriting and voice are very unique (voice in particular), but you have to come to my concerts to get a good taste of what I mean…

Q: What other performance lineups do you offer?

A: Me singing to as many pieces and tracks you like, and also as a duo, trio, and even a four-piece band.

Q: what is an accomplishment or achievement that you are particularly proud of?

A: I was named best emerging artist in New York by The Deli Magazine in 2015!

Q: Fun fact – Do you have a hidden talent?

A: I am a pretty good tap dancer.
